“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal”.
Dominion Life Cathedral International does not only communicate God’s love through sharing the word,
but we also do so through sharing what God has blessed us with.
This we do by working with communities and people in need through Global Care Ministries.
The ministry is a social welfare and development department of the church.
It serves to demonstrate the love of Christ to poor and vulnerable people through practical works.
Our key programmes cater for street people, orphans, widows, prisoners, the elderly, and the sick.
Global Care Ministries also covers hospital outreach, soup kitchens, disaster response, as well as,
undertaking mission trips to SADC countries where we have evangelized and planted churches.
We are raising women of intimate fellowship with God and one another (1 John 1:3-4,7).
We believe in love, must be the motivation behind all our relationships and every aspect of our women’s lives.
The women should therefore endeavour to reach out to the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ of repentance and love.
We believe the word of God must be at the heart of all we do. God is essential for giving direction and transformation.
We seek to encourage every woman, sister and daddy’s little girls to
seek after their Gods-given purpose. To discover, develop their natural ability and spiritual gifting.

Zechariah 13:9 “And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested.
They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, “The Lord is my God.’”
Mathew 28:18-20 reads then Jesus came to them and said “all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit,
and TEACHING them to obey everything I have commanded you and surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.”
From this scripture the mandate Jesus gave his disciples which still stands for the church (his disciples) today is to make more disciples through TEACHING of His WORD.
MAN, A FOUNDATION OF HUMAN RACE
When we read scripture, we find that God firstly made man Adam from the dust and out of Adam God created the human race,
therefore a man is a foundation for human race.
“Gen 2:7(NKJV): And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.” And “Gen2:21-23:And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept:
and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;22:
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.23: Ad Adam said,
This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’’
As a foundation of human race men must be aligned to God who is a foundation of all creation.
Foundation is very important. If a building has cracks and damages on the top structure, that building can still be renovated,
however if there are cracks and damage on the foundation that building will have to be demolished.
Foundation is important because it is a base upon which the structure(human race) rests.
If foundations are destroyed there is nothing that man can do. “Psalm 11:3 (NKJV) when the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
As a foundation, the decision that a man takes not only do they affect him, but they affect those that are after him.
When we read the bible, we see that the sin that Adam did not only did it affect him, but it affected the whole human race.
Through his disobedience he plunged the entire human race to the sinful nature.
“Romans 5:12(NKJV) 12 therefore, just as through one-man sin entered the world, and death through sin,
and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” It was a man’s sin that caused problem not the woman,
the future of the creation rested upon the decision of the man.
The challenge we have today as men is not to make decisions that will negatively affect the generations after us.
We need to go back to our creator and learn from him.
A foundation can only be strong if it is built on a rock not on sand. Matthew 7:24-29(NKJV)
24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall,
for it was founded on the rock.26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them,
will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came,
and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Jesus is a rock of our salvation.

Praise: The expression approval or admiration for something or someone
Worship: Is an act of religious devotion usually directed towards a deity,
which may be performed individually or as an informal group.
“And they sing the song of mosses the servant of God and the song of the lamb,
saying: Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy works, thou King of Saints.
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy:
for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgment are made manifest. (Revelations 15: 3-4)”
Dominion Life Cathedral International as a church that is exceptionally dedicated to
heartfelt and purposeful praise and worship as one of the core pillars in ministering
to our God with our eyes set to the horizon in raising a people that will worship him in spirit and truth.
Vision
Strong, value driven, word based & victorious Christian families modelling God's blueprint for marriage & the family
Mission
To build strong, word based and healthy Christian marriages that are equipped to withstand and overcome
challenges faced by the marriage institution in these last days and bring glory to God.
This we will achieve by:
A. Continually seeking God’s heart concerning marriage.
B. Equipping, shaping and reinforcing Christian marriages and families to uphold Godly values
within DLCI and the Society at large by arranging relevant seminars, counselling sessions and payer encounters.
STATEMENT OF FAITH:
We believe that God created marriage to be a holy institution, revered by all. Hebrews 13:4.
We believe in monogamous and heterosexual marriages between a man and a woman, within the confines of lawful matrimony. (Gen1: 27-28, Gen2:18, 21 & 23).
Marriage was created by God for God.
When God had created everything by His word...
"Then God said, 'let us (the triune God) make man in our image, in our likeness...'
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." Genesis 1: 26 – 28.
God created Marriage to reflect His oneness and His divinity.
God intends for the marriage relationship to be the earthly visible and tangible model for this ultimate oneness as he is wit the Trinity.
God also created marriage to Model Christ's Relationship with the Church:
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to make her holy....
to present her to Himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Ephesians 5:24 - 28
When a husband loves his wife with the unconditional, sacrificial and trustworthy love with which Christ loves the church,
his wife should have no problem submitting to him.
It is imperative as we continue in this journey to remember always that marriage is another form
of worship to God our creator and that God expects us to uphold purity, faithfulness, gentleness,
respect and oneness towards one another at all costs.
What Does It Take?
‘’Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour and slander be put away from you,
along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other,
just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32
Be thoughtful. Do nice things for your spouse even when you don't feel like it.
Train yourself to consider their feelings 1st and to want to go an extra mile for your lover.
Talk less but listen more. Find some time each day to have meaningful conversations with one another.
Listen with your heart and train your mind to be quiet when your partner is expressing their feelings.
Women are the guiltiest parties here.
Spend time together.
Make an extra effort and find any excuse to even ‘break a sweat together’.
Go for an evening stroll or jog, admire sunrise or dawn together.
Use that time to catch-up and find each other’s hearts.
Husbands put aside your Saturday to go shopping with her! Put on your comfortable shoes and wear an extra smile.
Show genuine interest as she tries on the same dress or pair of shoes for the third time.
Don’t take yourself too seriously.
Fill your household with laughter – it’s good for you! Find the child in each other.
Forgive one another.
Always endeavour to tackle issues at hand but not the person.
Unresolved and pilled-up issues are like a sausage in a frying pan, once its bursts – there is no turning back.
Ones an issue has been addressed, burry it and let it rest. Why dig it up again in its smelly and rotten form?
And nowthese three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. - 1 Corinthians 13:13
Through wisdom a house is built and by understanding it is established;
By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3-4
